Jim Brickman coming February 19th
If you want to feel better about the world and be uplifted when you leave, don’t miss his concert at the Civic Center on Tuesday, February 19th at 7:30 pm. Jim Brickman describes his beautiful piano music and songs as “an antidote to all the chaos going on.”
The Boston Herald calls him as a real “crowd pleaser” and state “his romantic melodies coupled with considerable stage charm have made him a phenomenon!”
Although classically trained at the Cleveland Institute of Music/Case Western Reserve University, Brickman soon turned to what he calls ‘solo instrumental pop music’ modeled after people like Burt Bacharach and Quincy Jones who compose as well as perform.
When asked what an audience can expect at his concert, Brickman answers, “They’ll get a little of everything; beautiful piano music, love songs, stories, and even some laughs. No flashy special effects- just pure music! It’s a great escape for a couple of hours.”
The concert will begin at 7:30 pm. All seats are reserved. Tickets go on sale at the Box Office for Civic Center members on February 11th at $20.00 each. The general public may purchase tickets at $25.00 beginning February 13th. Box Office hours are 1:00 pm until 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
